Penny Black combines the talents of Lancashire "lads" - John Bond (Vocals, Guitar) and Pete Skinner (Vocals, 5 String electric and Acoustic Banjo, Guitar, Mandolin and everything Else!) supplemented on occasions by one or more of their musical friends or family. Having spent many years honing their musical abilities (they've been honed so much they're just about worn away!) they decided to form a fun group for their own amazement! playing Lancashire songs and dialect poems, comic (some might say risque) songs plus various serious and not so serious instrumentals...

Michaela May Wright was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. She was a national swimmer from a young age and at 17 she moved to the United States on a swimming scholarship for Western lllinois University.
After completing her Master degree, she decided to pursue a singing career. While spending 3 years in Tampa, Florida she worked with Allon Sams, an acclaimed jazz pianist and an international DJ/Producer in Miami.

Stoner rock has had one foot in the grave for a few years now. Luckily, Mendoza is willing to kill it, bury it in unhallowed ground, and resurrect it as a wild-eyed zombie, sprinting through the streets hellbent for leather. Comprised of Guitar / Vocalist Deuce, tattooed drumming beauty Bina and brand new to the mix, the heavy handed El Heffe '. Mendoza began their seedy craft about a year ago now, sharing stages with Soilent Green, Jucifer , Kalas , Dixie Witch, 3 Inches of Blood and countless others.
