Blue Lily Commission is the ethnic-dance-electronica solo project of Steve Palmer. Steve is best known as the founding member of long-time psychedelic ambient band Mooch. Blue Lily Commission have released eight albums since the project's inception in 2000, some self-released, one on Rubbish Records ("Eastern Evening"), and two on AmbientLive Records ("Eve Songs" and "Bharatadubs"). The music is predominantly electronic, influenced by such bands as The Orb, Loop Guru, Shpongle etc, with a strong Indian/North African/Arabian influence.
