PIST was formed in 2003 with the intent of creating marketable music from influences of Heavy Metal , Death Metal , Thrash , Hardcore , Punk , and just about ALL gods of Metal we grew up listening to in the 80's and 90's ... Grinding chunkfest head bobbing beats and positive lyrics you could understand ... PIST recorded their 1st. demo in the beginning of 2004 and started playing shows in April ... Handing out over 20,000 3 song demos and played over 30 shows by the end of 1st. year out ...
