Foxes! are an experimental project founded by Adam and Kayla Bell along with now-departed Daniel Pacrami, in a garden in Oxford in the winter of 2005. Originally a five-piece under the name The Hola Thirties, featuring drummer Sam Robinson and guitarist Hamish Burnett, the two members parted company prompting Kayla to start learning the drums. They played their first gig in the Port Mahon venue in Oxford that December.
