Jim Musgrave

British songwriter Jim Musgrave's music is rooted in rock, prog, pop and is typically melodic and inventive. Previously known as the founding member and songwriter of Newcastle band Garret, and drummer for Norwich bands My Visor and The Elephant Dress, Jim has concentrated exclusively on solo material since 2004. His songs may be broadly categorised as alternating between powerpop and semi acoustic material, also with side projects and more experimental / psychedelic albums recorded as 'Land Equivalents' and occasionally as 'Barbary Ape'.
