Ella Yelich-O'Connor is a sixteen year old musician from New Zealand, who currently performs under the stage name Lorde. Signed to Universal Music, she released her debut EP The Love Club for free on SoundCloud in late 2012; and it was downloaded over 65,000 times before being released onto iTunes and Spotify.
