Copied from the band's myspace: It all started as an idea. When long-time high school friends Ryan Shellhorn, Robbie Martin, and Logan Groves joked around about starting a band, they never imagined that months later they would be playing for countless crowds, and opening for some of their favourite bands. Dead Winter started with five dudes, with a whole bunch of different musical tastes, who came together to start something different, and give the scene a kick in the ass.
