Back in the days when Newport was famous for fighting and everyone was skipping about to Brit Pop (a lethal combination, I’m sure you’ll agree) Flyscreen were the big kids in the playground - harder, louder and angrier than anyone else without stealing your dinner money. Together with 60ft Dolls, Dub War and Novocaine they created their own particular brand of post-grunge mayhem – a punk-pop cocktail of thrashing guitars with pithy, often witty songs about school, football and shagging.
