There are three artists under the name Virginia: 1) Virginia is a Spanish singer who became famous as contestant and winner of the sixth series of T5's Operación Triunfo (Spanish 'Fame Academy' / 'Pop Idol' TV show). Born 1982 in Linares, Jaén, Virginia Maestro Díaz was vocalist of unsigned bands like Little Vicky & the Shout Band, The Flik Flak Duo or Boogie Flu. Once at Operación Triunfo's Academy, Virginia was nicknamed as 'la Niña Azul' ('the Blue Girl') after her deep blue eyes and delicate figure.
