The Band From County Hell are an eight-piece Celtic rock band and have been described as one of the most exciting and original Celtic folk bands on today's circuit. The Band was founded in Sleaford, Lincoln, United Kingdom by frontman Steven McLelland in 1995 who has played music all his life and originates from Glasgow. His songs take you back to Scotland and Ireland and the instrumentation which includes fiddle, guitar, bass, mandolin, whistle, banjo, pipes, accordion, drums, brass section and piano, can only be described as superb.
