Shakila Karim - Audience Home Page

Shakila was born and grew up in the East End of London. She is now based in Hertfordshire. Shakila was always musical and started performing in school plays from a very young age. She started playing the Violin and then played the Recorder for a few years. Shakila now concentrated on the Piano, occasionaly the Ukulele and Drums.

Shakila started singing lessons during her first year in secondary school. She has been learning new songs and has just recorded her first original song. When Shakila has a moment she plays the Piano and sings everyday. Shakila has also discovered songwriting and is busy penning new songs as well. Her biggest musical influence are Michael Jackson, Queen, Elton John, Lady Gaga, Madonna and Rihanna.
