Since forming in late 2005 The Broken have achieved a lot for a band who have only existed for little over a year. Influences range from Muse, Wilco, Queens of the Stone Age, P.J Harvey and Jeff Buckley to the lush soundscapes of Sigur Ros and even into more classical territories. During 2005 and 2006 the Broken gigged extensively around the country taking in the Roadmender and Soundhaus in Northampton and the Half Moon in South West London and London's Rock Garden to name but a few.
