Black International are a 3-piece group based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The group was formed in late 2006, hastily convened to play a debut gig at Edinburgh College of Art, where they had previously studied. Geographic and philosophical influences include: Glasgow and Edinburgh 1979-81, Manchester 1979-82 and the Pacific Northwest 1988-91, and quite a few others that they may or may not acknowledge in conversation.
