Che Beresford - Drums Martin Travers is a big man with a big brush and one of those big, dreamy baritones like Scott Walker’s that you don’t seem to hear much anymore. A Manchester-born painter-decorator with a penchant for experimental theatre, Travers paid his dues crooning Kurt Weill in the homes of lonely housewives while slathering up the anaglypta and dreaming of a backing band to match his dizzy ambitions.
