Ellen Smith is a 20 year old singer-song writer from Leeds (UK).
Influenced by the likes of Bob Dylan, Neil Young and the Beatles from a young age, her story-like folk/ acoustic songs are clearly inspired by these artists.
With the addition of Chris Quick, Jeff Schneider, Andy Calder and James Warrender, in early 2008, Ellen formed the band ‘Ellen & the Escapades’.

Murray Gold

Murray Gold (born 1969, Portsmouth, England) is a British composer for stage, film, and television. Gold's credits date back to 1996, and some of his better-known work includes music for the television series Queer as Folk, Shameless, Casanova, Vanity Fair and Clocking Off as well as the 2000 film Beautiful Creatures. Since 2005, he has served as musical director for the new series of Doctor Who for the BBC.

Steve Harley

Steve Harley was born as Steven Nice, on 27 February 1951 in South London, growing up in New Cross and attended the school Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College. His musical career began in the late 1960s when he was busking (with John Crocker) and performing his own songs, some of which were later recorded by him and the band. The original Cockney Rebel was formed when Steve hooked up with his former folk partner, John Crocker (fiddle / mandolin / guitar) in 1972. They auditioned drummer Stuart Elliott, bassist Paul Jeffreys, and keyboardist Milton Reame-James.

The Wild Flowers

Hailing from Wolverhampton, England, the Wild Flowers were chiefly inspired by New York punk rock, especially Television and the Ramones. The band's original membership included guitarist/vocalist Neil Cook, guitarist Dave Newton, bassist Mark Alexander, and drummer Dave Fisher, and this lineup recorded an LP titled The Joy of It All for the small Reflex label in 1984. Newton left soon afterwards to form the Mighty Lemon Drops, and it took the Wild Flowers two years to regain their footing.

1.Bonginkosi Dlamini, aka Zola, is a South African poet, actor, and kwaito musician. He also presents Zola 7, a television show named for him, on SABC 1.
Born in the Soweto ghettos of Johannesburg, South Africa, Dlamini spent his formative years in one of the roughest and notorious ghettos around, Zola, hence his name. Unemployment, alcoholism, and single parent families are the norm in Zola.
