Jim Tomlinson

Perhaps best known for his work as the compelling counter-voice to singer and wife, Stacey Kent, Jim Tomlinson (b: 8th Sept 1966) is increasingly recognised as a distinctive saxophone voice in his own right. The release of his debut album as leader, Only Trust Your Heart (Candid 2000), was greeted with enthusiastic and universal acclaim. His follow up CD, Brazilian Sketches (2003), was named Jazz CD Of The Week by the Observer newspaper in the UK.

In 2005 after being friends and associated production whores with Mikah Freeman, Vance Musgrove & Ross McGrath started their digital label project, dubbed The Aston Shuffle. What started off as a group effort to get their previously unreleased tunes to the masses has skyrocketed into 2007 with the group heavily in demand for their white hot remixes

The Attika State

The Attika State is a five piece musical concoction whose origins and influences span oceans and epochs. Hailing from Sicily, Malta, Sri Lanka and Bristol the boys formed from a mutual love of live music and strive to inflect the minds of cynics to once again appreciate the beauty of forward thinking melodic rock and roll. The future is very promising for the band, as the touring continues and the fan base grows. With their new full length record currently being written, The Attika State endeavour to expose their hook riddled, melody laden pop-rock infusion to a wider audience.
