Blues Control are a psychedelic Queens NYC, New York band featuring the members of Watersports: Russ Waterhouse (guitar, electronics, tapes) and Lea Cho (keyboards, electronics). Jetplane Landing are a four piece band from Derry (Northern Ireland) and London (England). They comprise Andrew Ferris (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Jamie Burchell (Bass/Vocals), Cahir O’Doherty (Guitar/Vocals) and Raife Burchell (Drums). Jamie and Raife are brothers. Their musical influences include - At The Drive-In (the band's name comes from an observation that At The Drive-In sounded like a jet plane landing, made by a band friend) Helmet, Soundgarden, Blues Explosion, Fugazi, Shellac, Big Black, Pavement, Rage Against The Machine, AC/DC, Robbie Robertson, Bruce Springsteen and Elvis Costello.

Their debut 10" was released on Mexican Summer records in December 2009 to favorable reviews. No Pain in Pop – “Stunning, doomed, darkness…” Fader Magazine – “…what happens if No Age traded in good vibes and instead got real angry from the depths of a muffled cavern. It’s about four minutes of build up, windy moans and plodding drums giving way to a balls to the wall freakout as the whole song collapses on itself.”
