Arild Andersen

Arild Andersen (born October 27, 1945) is a Norwegian bass player. He started out as a member of the Jan Garbarek Quartet (1967-1973), with Terje Rypdal and Jon Christensen. In the same period he also worked with the Norwegian singer Karin Krog and played in the rhythm section for visiting American musicians including Phil Woods, Dexter Gordon, Hampton Hawes, Johnny Griffin, Sonny Rollins, and Chick Corea. During this time, he also worked with Don Cherry and George Russell. Andersen has recorded over a dozen albums for ECM Records as band leader, and appeared on many others as side man.

1) American jazz producer, arranger, conductor, pianist, keyboardist. Has been on the jazz scene, producing for such artists as James Brown and George Benson as well as appearing in many credits for CTI Records in Japan and the United States since the 1970's. Claims to fame later became known well to his appearance are a fisherman's cap, a somewhat unkempt moustache/beard and aviator-frame eyeglasses.

Nikki Iles

Nikki Iles is a British jazz pianist. She was born in Dunstable, Bedfordshire on 16th May 1963. Over the last few years Nikki Iles has progressed steadily into the front rank of British jazz musicians. From a musical family, she first became aware of jazz through her father's record collection, and began playing the harmonica and clarinet at her primary school. At eleven she won a Junior Exhibitioner's Scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music, studying piano and clarinet, and was soon a member of the Bedfordshire Youth Jazz Orchestra.

Korekyojinn

Korekyojinn (???; Korekyojin) is a Japanese progressive Rock trio led by drummer Yoshida Tatsuya (????), of Ruins and Koenji Hyakkei (?????) fame. The trio is completed by guitarist Kido Natsuki from Bondage Fruit and bassist Mitsuru Nasuno from ALTERED STATES, Daimonji and Ground Zero. The group was formed in 2009, when they released their first album Korekyojin. They released two recordings, Korekyojin and Isotope, under John Zorns label Tzadik.

Jan Akkerman

Jan Akkerman (born 24 December 1946) is a Dutch guitarist and lutenist. In 1973 Akkerman was chosen Best Guitarist Of The World by the readers of the UK magazine Melody Maker. In the 1970s, with Thijs van Leer he formed the core of the Dutch symphonic rock band Focus. Akkerman was born in the 'de Jordaan' area of Amsterdam, the son of a scrap iron trader. At age five he took guitar lessons and, at the age of fourteen, his first single was released. He was a member of Johnny and The Cellar Rockers, The Hunters and Brainbox, and joined the Thijs van Leer Trio in late 1969.
