A 3 strong Punk / Dance / Hardcore outfit from Glasgow.
Formed in Feb '08 by two old friends and a stranger, Hey Vampires wasted no time in writing songs and recording their first E.P. Released in June '08 Hey Vampires #1 secured them a years worth of gigs, a dedicated fan base and a second E.P release on Two Tick Records. Watch for 'Problems, Solve Yourselves' on shelves virtual and tangible alike in early 2009. "Noisy as Fu*k!" 1. One is a girl group from the 1960s, who relased a cover of "Bend Me, Shape Me" in 1966 2. The Models are Canadian group formed 1975. 3. The Models (credited also as Models) was a short-lived punk band formed in Harrow, London, England. It consisted in Cliff Fox on vocals and guitar, Marco Pirroni on guitar, Mick Allen on bass and Terry Day on drums.

There are at least 2 groups known as The Pirates: 1)The Pirates are a pub-rock band from England. They played in 60's as a backing band to Johnny Kidd (the most notable song of Johnny Kidd and The Pirates is "Shakin' All Over"), and reformed in 76.
Lineup included Frank Farley, Johnny Spence and Mick Green. Mick Green, guitarist of Pirates famous for his unique "choppy-style" guitar playing (lead and rhythm at the same time) which influenced such great musicians as Wilko Johnson of Dr.Feelgood and Pete Townshend of The Who.

The Mahones

The Mahones are a Canadian Celtic punk band, whose blend of Celtic folk with alternative rock was a popular draw on the Canadian live music circuit in the 1990s. The band was formed in Kingston, Ontario in 1990 by Fintan "Finny" McConnell and Barry Williams, as a one-off band for a St. Patrick's Day party. According to their website (www.themahones.net), the name was chosen to rhyme with The Ramones.
