Voodoo Hussy

Voodoo Hussy’s sound can be described as punk-rock cabaret, combining pop melody with a hard rock punch, constantly delivered with high energy. Lead vocalist Shabby Joe’s sarcastic wit and intriguing charisma ensure all eyes on her. Backed by four talented and androgynously appealing ladies, she holds court firing sexual innuendo and political satire, belting out every song as though she were born performing. Liz (lead guitar), Pyro (rhythm guitar), Naj (bass) and Leanna (drums) provide doses of metal glory and punk power all with enough pop sensibility to appeal to the masses.

50ft Woman

Inspired by the eponymous B- movie, 50ft Woman came to be in 2008. Rolling all her favourite bands into one, front woman Minki created a superhero character with a superhero soundtrack. Described as 'Blondie's forgotten love child' and a personification of 'Into the Valley of the Ultra Vixens', the catchy choruses, quirky lyrics and crunchy guitars make for a heady mix. Not Cool

Not Cool were born in the winter of 2008, semi-fresh from the sweet iceberg that was Lost Penguin. Incorporating 2/3's of the musical talent of the imPoverished area of London called Downham, these young wanderers count severely divided genres as their influences. Experimental grunge punk-pop samba marmite is what an idiot might call them.
