Salt The Wound

Salt the Wound was founded in September of 2001 in Cleveland, OH. 7 years later we find members of the band hailing from all over the state of Ohio as well as Illinois. With a relentless tour schedule that has taken the band around the world from Mexico to Europe and back again the band continues to strive for more, signed in 2007 by Upland, CA's Rotten Records the band released "Carnal Repercussions" in February of 2008 and have been on the road every single day since. There is no down time in sight for the band, this is war, and we are waging war against the world.

Artist Type:

Desaparecidos

Desaparecidos was a short-lived American quintet formed in 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska, fronted by Conor Oberst (vocals, guitar) and featuring Denver Dalley, now of Statistics (guitar), Landon Hedges, now of Little Brazil (bass), Ian McElroy (keyboards), and Matt Baum (drums). This project however was restarted in 2010. Oberst may be better known for his confessional songwriting and storytelling as the lead singer of the popular indie folk band Bright Eyes, but Desaparecidos has a very different flavor.

Artist Type:

Jean Grey

Jean Grey is the secret identity of the X-Men member Phoenix, with special mutant fire powers. She is also one of the heaviest bands to ever come out of Oregon. Jean Grey hits your ass with the unnecessarily pissed-off brooding of Dead to Fall or Through The Eyes of The Dead but with the 2-step/mosh sensibilities of the likes of Bury Your Dead, while adding their own interjecting guitar lines and drum fills that seal their own style.

Artist Type:

Sleepless

There has been more than one artist to use the name Sleepless. 1.Sleepless is a Dark Progressive Metal band from Israel, they released Winds Blow Higher in 2001 and now they are split-up. 2.Sleepless is from Tucson, Arizona, formed in 2009. 3.A hungarian deathcore band from Székesfehérvár. 4.Sleepless were originally known under the German name Die Schlaflosen. Formed in 1982 when guitarist Arch Stanton met up with Singers Cloudia Wintermute & Lucretia, and bassist Roland Hammerl. They immediatly found they had an amazing chemistry together and improvasation was the key to their sound.

Artist Type:

Gamarra

Gamarra formed by fate and fate alone.
It started with a chance meeting between musicians in a Cambridge bus stop some winter 3 years ago. 3 years on and with plentiful gigging, writing and rehearsing behind them, (not to mention members coming and going) Gamarra currently find themselves with the strongest line-up to date and more determined than ever to rip a hole in your leg with their sound.

Artist Type:

The Boy Will Drown

A Tech metal/Grind band from England. They show promise in their Sikth meets Between The Buried And Me style. If you're into the likes of The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Red Chord, Between The Buried and Me, Sikth, and The Architects I'd certainly recommend checking them out.
Recently (summer 2008) signed to earache with a full album expected sometime spring 2009

Artist Type:
