The Miracles

The Miracles (known from 1965 to 1972 as Smokey Robinson and the Miracles) is an American rhythm and blues group from Detroit, Michigan, notable as the first successful group act for Berry Gordy's Motown Records. The Miracles went on to become one of Motown's signature acts of the 1960s, during which time their original lead singer and founding member Smokey Robinson became one of the most successful songwriters and record producers of all time.

Also included is a cover of The Bee Gees 'How Deep Is Your Love'. 2. Shades is a four piece electronic band from Boise, Idaho. Their debut album, Clear Motions, was released under Synthemesc Recordings. 3. "SHADES is Ana, a girl who always saw at parties and concerts they went.

Edwin Starr

Edwin Starr (January 21, 1942 – April 2, 2003) was an American soul music singer. Born Charles Edwin Hatcher in Nashville, Tennessee, Starr is most famous for his Norman Whitfield produced Motown singles of the 1970s, most notably the number one hit War. Edwin Starr was born in Nashville, Tennessee in 1942. He and his cousins (soul singers Roger and Willie Hatcher) moved to Cleveland, Ohio where they were raised.

Brenda Holloway

Brenda Holloway (born June 21, 1946 in Atascadero, California) is an African-American singer and songwriter best known for her period as a recording artist for the Motown label during the 1960s.Her best known hits from her Motown days were the soul ballad "Every Little Bit Hurts" (which reached #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1964. The title of the song was similar to the '60's television public service announcement about highway littering--Every Litter Bit Hurts.

Marvin Gaye

Marvin Pentz Gay, Jr. (born April 2, 1939 in Washington, D.C.; died April 1, 1984 in Los Angeles, California), was a Grammy award winning R&B, soul and doo-wop singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known as The Prince of Soul. The Funk Brothers

The Funk Brothers were a group of Detroit musicians who were the house band at Detroit's Motown Records from 1959 to 1972, when the company moved to Los Angeles. Their story was told in Paul Justman's 2002 documentary film Standing in the Shadows of Motown, based on Allan Slutsky's book of the same name.

Bonnie Raitt, (born November 8, 1949) is an American blues and R&B singer, songwriter, and guitarist who was born in Burbank, California, the daughter of Broadway musical star John Raitt. Raitt began playing guitar at an early age, something not a lot of her high school girlfriends did. "I had played a little at school and at camp," she later recalled in a July 2002 interview. "My parents would drag me out to perform for my family, like all parents do, but it was a hobby—nothing more...I think people must wonder how a white girl like me became a blues guitarist.
