Vladimir Davidovich Ashkenazy (sometimes transliterated Ashkenazi) (Russian: ????????? ?????????? ?????????) (born July 6, 1937) is a Russian conductor and, more notably, a pianist. He was born in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. Ashkenazy began his studies at the age of 6 and showing prodigious talent, was accepted at the Central Music School at 8. A graduate of the Moscow Conservatory, he won second prize in the prestigious International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw in 1955 and shared first prize in the 1962 International Tchaikovsky Competition with English pianist John Ogdon.

Von Hertzen Brothers is a Finnish progressive rock band. It consists of three brothers Kie, Mikko and Jonne von Hertzen. On their latest album "Love Remains the Same" (2008), Mikko Kaakkurinniemi (drums, percussion) and Juha Kuoppala (piano, keyboards) are listed as part of Von Hertzen Brothers. Their debut album "Experience" was released in 2001. In 2006, they released their second album titled Approach. Their third album, Love Remains The Same, came out on the 14th of May 2008 and went straight to #1 on the official Finnish album charts.
The Courteeners are a British indie rock band formed in Manchester, in 2006 by Liam Fray (guitar/vocals), Michael Campbell (drums/backing vocals), Daniel Conan Moores (Guitar), and Mark Cuppello (bass). Whilst studying at the University of Salford, Liam Fray started to perform acoustic sets as a singer-songwriter around Manchester. After getting positive reactions from the crowd, Fray decided to leave University and form a band. He recruited long time friend Michael Campbell. Born in the Bronx and raised in a musical environment (his father is a professor of music, his mother a professional singer), Hest began writing songs for the guitar in his mid-teens. Despite his parents' professional interests, Hest considers himself a self-taught musician. Hest is a 2002 graduate of New York University. A veteran of the small club circuit, particularly in and around his native New York City, Hest recorded and issued his first three albums on his own.
