African Queen

African Queen are a five piece femme-fronted neo-psychadelic rock movement from east London and the surrounding area that emerged in 2007. The band's eclectic sound draws on shoegaze elements of the late 1980s and early 1990s; as well as dragging up 60's inspired tones to form a contemporary psych-rock sound typical of bands such as The Warlocks, The Black Angels or The Morning After Girls. The band are currently playing frequent shows in and around London whilst recording their first full-length album with producer and techno DJ Johnny Arthur.
