Blackbirds

There are at least two bands/artists with this name: 1) BLACKBIRDS is a hardcore/punk band from Michigan (although some members are from Canada). Their earlier material took cues from American Nightmare/Outbreak/97A but their new material is in the vein of His Hero Is Gone/Tragedy/etc. They are not broken up anymore and are back together with a new lineup, new releases soon, and are back touring. The hardcore band Blackbirds is not associated with blackdog records.

Thomas Datt

Thomas Datt has been slowly breaking through to the forefront of the world's trance scene since 2003. From his first remix release to his breakout hit 'Alone', he continues to produce an onslaught of the most emotive music going. He has done remixes for labels such as ASOT, ID&T, Vandit, Bostich, Adjusted, and Euphonic, lending them his trademark melodic and banging trance sound. Born in Kolberg (Kolobrzeg) Poland in 1983 and later moved to United States in 1992. Ever since Thomas was 15 years old he knew he wanted to entertain and express himself in some form of techno.

Artist Type:

Cosines

Simon Nelson and Alice Hubley met on the London Underground after a stereo totale gig in 2009. Two days later Simon was round Alice's house unblocking her kitchen drain. Since then Simon has been round and put up two curtain rails, a blind and a shelf in exchange for badly cooked pasta and pear cider. When they are not doing DIY they like to talk Beach Boys, analogue synths and procrastination techniques and occasionally play music together abley assisted by Dan Chapman and The Late Jonny Tansey.

Artist Type:

Tall Firs

Tall Firs were formed in 1990 when teenagers Dave Mies and Aaron Mullan taught one another to play guitar over the telephone in Annapolis, Maryland. Eleven years later they played their first gig, having crawled to Brooklyn, NY in the interim. Halfway through the second decade of searching for a drummer, Ryan Sawyer finally assumed the throne. A near-telepathic nonchalance pervades the music of the Tall Firs.

Artist Type:

Zombie Computer

Grunge robot trance moments from Cork, Ireland. A midi grind rocket manned by three individual cyber punk convicts (Eoghan Reid/Vince Murray/Scimon Tist).
Comparisons include New Order, Kraftwerk and MGMT. A Zombie Computer sonic ritual usually includes explosive drum beats shrouded in blissed out keys with overdriven guitar housing as an accomplice. The sacrificial trance is offered up between electro dance and grunge punk.

Elf Power

Hailing from Athens, Georgia, Elf Power are a band of the Elephant 6 collective. The band members are Andrew Rieger (guitarist/vocalist), Laura Carter (keyboardist), Jimmy Hughes (guitarist), Derek Almstead (bassist), Eric Harris, Heather McIntosh (cellist), and Josh Lott (drummer).

The Lurios

The Lurios are two sets of brothers dragged up from the smog-filled streets of the Teesside area. Captivating audiences with their youthfulness and sheer knack at writing brilliant indie-pop tunes, this four piece are currently crafting more and more songs and seem to be gathering more and more fans along the way, as they play the odd gig and shine the odd bit of lurio-light into the hearts of those that come to see them perform.
