Jumping Ships “People tend to try to pigeon-hole our music wherever they hear it” laughs Michael Williams, front-man and songwriter of Brighton based Jumping Ships, “but I don’t think we fit into an specific category; someone once described us as genre-defying, I quite like that idea.” *** Michael Williams moved from Wokingham to Brighton in August 2005; attracted by the buzzing music scene and the possibility of escaping the dreary confines of suburban life.

Pompeii's music is a thing of elegance and eloquence, splendor and daring. In just over a two-year lifespan, the five members of Pompeii have managed to construct a monument of evocative emotion, ambitious sound, and infinite vision. The foundation is a solid work of desire and commitment, held cohesively by the passion of Dean Stafford (vocals, guitar), Erik Johnson (guitar), Caitlin Bailey (cello), Rob Davidson (drums) and Shane Stevens(bass). Since the release of "Assembly" Shane Stevens and Caitlin Bailey have both parted ways with Pompeii. Colin Butler has since joined the group on bass.

There are two bands named 'The Bishops', one is the band described below, the other is the band previously known as 'The Count Bishops' ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Bishops are; Mike Bishop (vox and guitar), Pete Bishop (vox and bass) and Chris McConville (drums). London based, the band formed two years ago when twin brothers Mike and Pete met Chris working in their local pub the King’s Head.
