Har Mar Superstar

Sideproject of Sean Tilmann of Sean Na Na fame. Har Mar Superstar is an American singer born in Owatonna, Minnesota. While remaining relatively unknown in his home country, he has found fame in the U.K. indie rock/dance scene. His musical genre is generally lewd R'n'B music, mixed with electroclash. He made a cameo in the 2004 movie Starsky and Hutch as "Dancin' Rick", a disco dance champion who faces off in a contest with Ben Stiller's Starsky character.

Maths Class

Maths Class is a band from the UK that formed in 2006 in Brighton. They have wide range of influences and have played extensively around the UK and in Europe. Maths Class first gained publicity when they approached Shitdisco, who were playing at The Great Escape, and asked them if they could support them at their house party. After supporting some of the best new bands around at the moment they were noticed by the media.

J Mascis and the Fog

J Mascis and The Fog is the post-Dinosaur Jr. musical project embarked by Dinosaur Jr.'s founding member, musician J Mascis. After fulfilling his contractual obligations to Blanco y Negro in the UK and Sire Records/Reprise Records in the US, Mascis holed up in his home studio in Amherst, MA, which he named Bob's Place after his pet bulldog. Recording 99% of the instruments on the recordings, he emerged from the studio with the first J Mascis and The Fog album, More Light, an album title inspired by Mascis' growing interest in "hugging saint" Ammachi.

Goldrush

Goldrush are a rock band from Oxfordshire, England. Their music has been compared to American drifters such as the Byrds, the Flaming Lips and Grandaddy. The band centres around brothers Robin Bennett (vocals, guitar) and his brother Joe (keyboards, guitar, vocals). The other members are Garo (lead guitar), Growler (bass) and G (drums). Original bassist Jef Clayton left the band in 2003. They were formed in the late 1990s under the name Whispering Bob, after the DJ "Whispering" Bob Harris, who frontman Robin once served while working in the local SPAR shop.

Titus Andronicus

Titus Andronicus is an indie rock band which formed in Glen Rock, New Jersey, United States in 2005. They consist of Patrick Stickles (vocals, guitar), Ian O'Neil (guitar), Ian Graetzer (bass), Andrew Cedermark (keyboards, vocals) and Eric Harm (drums). The band takes its name from the Shakespeare play Titus Andronicus. Their debut album, The Airing of Grievances, received an 8.5 rating from Pitchfork Media and has received positive reviews elsewhere.

Duels

Duels are a five piece band from Leeds, England. The band, which consists of core members Jim and Jon Foulger (guitar and vocals respectively), drummer James Kirkbright and bassist Jon Maher, have recently been joined by Forward Russia guitarist Whiskas. Additional Duels members include, or have included, Katherine Botterill on keyboards and backing vocals and violinist Lesley Turner. They create dark and often anthemic new-wave pop with sinister undercurrents to craft a unique, vibrant sound, while recalling legendary artists such as Wilco, Robert Wyatt, David Bowie and Pulp along the way.
