What is 'The Last Mile' ?

What do we mean by "The Last Mile" of Marketing? We're referring to that extra effort required to actually achieve what you set out to do, without which all the miles travelled so far are wasted.

Would you rather have customers remain inactive on your database, or to Opt Out?

Some would argue it's better to know exactly where you stand with customer, others perhaps that if the customer remains contactable there's always a chance to win them back.

Considering that irrelevant communication is a waste of time and energy for both you and the customer, perhaps it's better to get an opt out, rather than disengagement - at least its a response! You've still got their contact details and can always courteously get in touch down the line.

Many businesses share their customers with other businesses, and yet if asked if they would share data about their customers, even confidentially, they run a mile. 'What! Share my customer data? Not me...the competition will steal my customers" Why do we assume we'd be worse off?

BIC Helps Young People Discover More Live Music

Dorset Music Forum (DMF) is piloting a new program to make live music more accessible to younger people. Working with local venues and promoters the project provides incentives and offers for people under 16 years of age to encourage them to discover more live music.

The first concert goes on sale this week at the Bournemouth International Centre featuring Australia’s best selling artist ‘Xavier Rudd’ on Saturday 4th December, having previously packed out the o2 Academy.
